Register discount

The discount system allows you to offer reduced prices on individual training. There are two options available:

  • Automatic discount: applies directly to all users, without any action on their part. The discounted price appears directly on the training.

  • Discount coupon: requires the user to enter a code in the cart for the discount to be applied. Ideal for exclusive promotions and specific campaigns.

The two modes can be combined to generate cumulative discounts.

💡

Example:

A training has an original price of $40.

If it has an automatic discount of 10%, the new price will be $36.00.

If the user also has a 20% discount coupon, the final price will be $28.80.

Instructions

Register automatic discount

  1. Go to the Marketplace > Configuration menu

  2. Click on the Automatic discount tab

  3. Click on the New discount button in the upper right corner

  4. In the Automatic discount name field, enter the name that will identify the discount
    It will not be visible to the user.

  5. In the Discount field, enter the discount percentage that will be applied
    Only the values with and without the discount will be visible to the user.

  6. In the Start date and End date fields, define the discount validity period
    If there is no end date, the discount will be applied indefinitely.

  7. Click the + Add item button to add training
    Only training from the catalog can be selected.

To apply the discount to all training, do not add any items.

  1. Enable the Discount active option to activate the discount within the period configured in step 6

  2. Click Save

If there is more than one automatic discount active for the same training, the percentages will be added together.

💡

Example:

A training included in two active discounts of 10% and 15% will have a 25% discount.

If it is also included in a third discount of 20%, it will have a 45% discount.

Register a discount coupon

  1. Go to the Marketplace > Configuration

  2. Click on the Discount coupon tab

  3. Click on the New coupon button in the upper right corner

  4. In the Discount coupon name field, enter the name that will identify the coupon
    This will be the code disclosed and entered by the user (avoid spaces).

  5. In the Discount field, enter the discount percentage that will be applied

  6. In the Start date and End date fields, define the coupon validity period
    If there is no end date, the coupon will be applied indefinitely.

  7. In the Select the discount type field, select:

    1. Unique: applied once, regardless of the number of discounted items in the cart

    2. Progressive: the discount percentage increases according to the number of discounted items in the cart

      1. In the Minimum and Maximum fields, enter the minimum and maximum number of items that activate the progressive discount (up to 5)

Example:

A progressive coupon of 10%, valid for up to 3 items:

  • If the user adds a valid training to the cart, the discount will be 10%.

  • With two valid trainings, the discount increases to 20%.

  • With three valid trainings, it will be 30%.

  • With four or more valid trainings, the discount remains at 30%, as the limit has already been reached.

  1. Click the + Add item button to enter the training
    Only training from the catalog can be selected.

To apply the discount to all training, do not add any items.

  1. Enable the Discount active option to activate the discount within the period configured in step 6

  2. Click Save
