Configure self-assessment completion period

Controlling the self-assessment completion period gives the organization greater flexibility and control over when students can complete their self-assessments, ensuring that the process is aligned with the competency management strategy.

During the defined period, the Update knowledge button will be available for students to update their scores in the desired knowledge areas. Outside this period, the button will be unavailable, allowing only the viewing of scores already recorded.

Instructions

1. Click on Knowledge in the main menu

2. Click on the Settings submenu

3. In the Self-Assessment area, fill in the Start Date and End Date fields

Information

• If both dates are blank, the Update knowledge button will always be available to students.

• If both dates are filled in, the Update knowledge button will only be available to students during the configured period.

• If the start date is blank and the end date is filled in, the Update knowledge button will be available to students until the configured date.

• If the start date is filled in and the end date is blank, the Update knowledge button will be available to students from the configured date, with no end date.

4. Click the Save button
