Knowledge from the student's view
Self-assessment allows students to assess their knowledge autonomously. After configuring the knowledge, there are different ways to carry out the self-assessment.
Self-assessment in the “My Knowledge” menu
The My Knowledge menu will be available so that students can carry out self-assessments at any time on all active knowledge.
In order for the student to view this menu, the My knowledge section must be enabled, as instructed at Configure account.
By clicking on their profile picture and selecting My Knowledge from the list, they will be able to view all active knowledge, with the current score, the date of the last self-assessment and the skill linked to the knowledge.

To carry out their self-assessment, the student must click on the Update knowledge button and change the score of the knowledge of the desired skills.
If more than 5 pieces of macro knowledge are active, the self-assessment will be divided into pages, with 5 pieces of macro knowledge per page. The student must enter the new scores and then click on the Send button before moving on to the next page.
Unsent scores will be lost when changing pages.
After submitting the scores, they will remain marked in the self-assessment for up to 7 days. After this period, they will automatically be unmarked, indicating that they need to be updated.
The scores are colored to reflect the student's progress compared to the previous score:
BLUE: score has remained the same.
GREEN: score has increased. Example: from 1 to 3.
YELLOW: score decreased by up to 2 points. Example: from 4 to 2.
RED: score decreased by 3 points. Example: from 4 to 1.

Knowledge hierarchy
The hierarchy of knowledge is organized into macro (main) and micro (secondary and tertiary) levels.
Only the last level of the hierarchy can be evaluated directly. In this case, an arrow next to the main or secondary knowledge will be displayed for expansion.
The average score of a lower level is used to calculate the score of the higher levels.
Example hierarchy:
Knowledge 1
Knowledge 1.1
Knowledge 1.1.1
Knowledge 1.1.2
Knowledge 1.2
Knowledge 1.3
Knowledge 1.3.1
Knowledge 1.3.2
Knowledge 1.3.3
The student will only score the knowledge highlighted in green.
Calculating scores:
Knowledge 1.1: average of Knowledge 1.1.1 (score 4) and Knowledge 1.1.2 (score 3):
(4 + 3) / 2 = score 3.5.Knowledge 1.3: average of Knowledge 1.3.1 (score 3), Knowledge 1.3.2 (score 4) and Knowledge 1.3.3 (score 2):
(3 + 4 + 2) / 3 = score 3.Knowledge 1: average of Knowledge 1.1 (score 3.5), Knowledge 1.2 (score 1) and Knowledge 1.3 (score 3):
(3.5 + 1 + 3) / 3 = score 2.5.
