Configure knowledge
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for configuring the knowledge management feature on the platform.
Instructions
Edit the nomenclature of seniority (optional)
The platform has 3 seniorities registered with the nomenclatures Junior, Pleno and Sênior. It is not possible to register new seniorities, but the nomenclatures can be adjusted according to the structure of your organization.
The following fields are directly related to the knowledge management feature and are mandatory:
Work Function: name of the work function (position + seniority).
Seniority: selection of seniority, used to define mandatory and desirable knowledge.
Status: must be Enabled.
Register the skills that will group the knowledge
All fields are mandatory and the Status must be Enabled.
Example:
Technical (skill)
Systems development (macro knowledge)
Back-end (micro knowledge)
Front-end (micro knowledge)
Integration API (macro knowledge)
RESTful (micro knowledge)
Authentication and authorization (micro knowledge)
The following fields are mandatory:
Title: name of the knowledge.
Description: brief summary of the knowledge.
Competence: link to the skill.
Macro knowledge: definition of whether it is macro or micro knowledge.
When macro knowledge has linked micro knowledge, only the micro knowledge will be assessed by students in the self-assessment.
Example:
Systems development is macro knowledge, and its micro knowledge is Back-end and Front-end.
The self-assessment will only be carried out on the micro knowledge Back-end and Front-end.
Activation: must be Enabled.
Edit the nomenclature of the levels (optional)
The platform has 4 levels registered with the nomenclatures Nível 1, Nível 2, Nível 3 and Nível 4. It is not possible to register new levels, but the nomenclatures can be adjusted according to the structure of your organization.
All fields are mandatory and the Status must be Enabled.
Example:
Differentiate a Back-end C# developer from a Front-end C# developer, allowing the linking of mandatory and desirable knowledge specific to each specialty.
Register the team (optional)
The team will be selected when linking knowledge to the student's work function.
All fields are mandatory and the Status must be Enabled.
The link can be made in two ways:
Manual: in each work function, one by one.
Import via spreadsheet: in several work functions, in batches.
In the student view, they can perform self-assessments of their knowledge at different times:
Before and after online training (optional): up to 5 pieces of knowledge, as configured by the administrator.
Before and after a track (optional): up to 10 pieces of knowledge, as configured by the administrator.
Before and after gamification (optional): up to 5 pieces of knowledge, as configured by the administrator.
At any time: in the My Knowledge menu.

In addition, students can export their self-assessments in Excel format, containing, for each piece of knowledge:
Name of knowledge
Current self-assessment score
Date of self-assessment
Associated skill
After the self-assessments, the administrator has access to dashboards and detailed reports, which allow them to monitor student progress, identify areas that need attention, and plan strategic actions.
